We had our home listed for sale with Help-U-Sell for 241 days. We listed with them because we thought that real estate agents were paid too much. Help-U-Sell did not do any marketing of our home, and our home did not sell. In fact, we never even had an offer. When our home expired from the market, Angela Acord contacted us. Angela was friendly, professional, and courteous. She helped us price our house correctly for the current market. She placed our home in the Real Estate Book, and on REALTOR.COM, as well as in the Lake County MLS, and the Bay area MLS. She also placed our home on the CPS website, as well as the Timothy Toye team website. From Timothy’s website, she sent out a broadcast to all of her prospective buyers. She exceeded our expectations in terms of the marketing of our home.

As it happened, another member of the Timothy Toye team, Yolande Muller, brought the buyers for our house. We received an acceptable offer on our house in only 71 days, despite being in a very “down” market. Yolande was also professional, and courteous. She and Angela worked together to make sure that both the buyer’s and our own needs were met from start to finish.

I would also like to mention that because of Angela’s intuition, experience, and expertise, we saved over $6,000. Angela recommended that we get a second opinion on a pest inspection, because the first pest inspection repair estimate seemed unreasonably high. We decided to take her advice, and we are very glad we did. We now know that a good real estate agent EARNS every dollar that they are paid. We would gladly recommend Angela Acord to anyone who is buying or selling a house.

Angie sold our land in Cobb in 8 days. Then, she sold our house in Clearlake 2 months later. Our lender for the Clearlake house was going to charge over $4,000 for a pre-payment penalty. There was not enough money to close the escrow. No matter how we tried, the lender would not agree to waive the fee. We gave Angie permission to speak to them on our behalf, and within 2 days they agreed to waive the penalty, saving us over $4,000, and making it possible for us to complete the sale. We think she must be a magician! We have recommended her to our friends and acquaintances.
