 Angela Acord--Buyer's & Seller's Agent
Angie tells her story: "I was born in Cleveland, Ohio. My father was a steelworker, who began investing in real estate when he was 22 years old. My mother was the head teller at a local bank, and a homemaker. During the late 1970's, my father took a friend's advice and obtained a real estate license. He immediately, and consistently, earned the highest awards each year for his success in real estate sales, and served on the Cleveland Area Board Of Realtors. He holds all of the professional designations for real estate, and is a broker in the Cleveland area.
I graduated high school in 1985. I received my training in real estate at Cleveland State University, after having attended Cuyahoga Community College. I was also a singer/songwriter/guitar-player at college campus clubs, and performed as a singer on recordings for regionally-known artists, as well as recorded my own songs. My songs have been heard on college and alternative radio stations. I like "American Roots" music; blues, gospel, jazz, folk, and still play and sing for fun..
I bought my first house when I was 22 years old (a duplex). Shortly after, I obtained a real estate license. I worked extensively with first time home buyers, as well as senior home sellers who were downsizing, from 1989-1993. I was a stay-at-home mom from 1994-1997. I re-entered real estate sales in 1997.
In 2000, I decided to try something new, so I obtained a property and casualty insurance license. I went to work for a large national insurance company. After almost 3 years in the insurance industry, I decided to take a year off to do as I pleased......yoga, meditation, music, travel, theater, nature, and self-discovery. I fell in love with the natural beauty of Lake County from the very first time I visited.
I moved to Lake County in July, 2004. I began working at Best Image Marketing, providing advertorial newspaper columns for real estate agents nationwide. Working with real estate professionals only made me understand that working for buyers and sellers is what I really want to do.
For 2007, Angela is in the top 10 realtors in Lake County for numbers of properties sold. For 2008, Angela is the #9 realtor county-wide for buyers sold. For 2009, Angela is the #6 realtor county-wide for buyers sold.

Meet Cloverdale Realtor® Anne Baker, Experienced in Short Sale
I’m a proud mother of three beautiful teenagers. One has just left the next and is now attending UC Davis so I’m working hard to beat the empty nest blues. I’ve just relocated to Cloverdale where I’m living with my youngest son, Matt and a few miles from my oldest son Mark. Both are thriving here in this lush bedroom community at the Northern tip of Sonoma County, just below Mendocino County and Lake County, my home away from home. I lived in Lake County for seven years where I launched a successful real estate career built on compassion and an intense desire to help solve our current market crisis one home owner at a time.
I enjoy running immensely and when my son Matt announced he was going to be on the cross country team for Cloverdale High School I decided to move my home base to him. After all, I love driving the Hopland Grade into Lakeport in gorgeous Lake County and it’s only an hour commute. There is virtually no traffic. Lake County offers Clear Lake, a bass fisherman’s choice in California, stunning panoramic views and a sunny climate with about 10 days a year reaching 110’s and 10 more slipping into the 20’s. I loved the sun there and I loved running with my friends. But there was one run that beat them all and that was with my son Matt at the Lake County Park on Soda Bay. I decided then that I would move when Rebecca went off to University on September 17, 2011.
I know most of Sonoma County and have lived in Santa Rosa, Sonoma, and Petaluma, where I home schooled my three children for several of the best years of my life. We spent many days learning and exploring many of the local, county, and state parks throughout Sonoma County to the shores of the North Bay. I must admit, the libraries were my favorite destinations. Having young ones so close in age, I rarely made it beyond the children’s sections though.
I grew up and left Los Angeles County at age 18 to attend Sonoma State University to study first English then Business. Though I’ve had my real estate sales license since 1993, my children came first and I set the license aside. In 2005 I picked it up again and learned the art of marketing with CPS Country Air Properties, a valuable education. In 2008 I moved to Timothy Toye & Associates, where Timothy Toye a master in the craft of sales, taught me to close transactions.
Short sales were a natural for me. I have empathy for the homeowner who just lost their job or their spouse, for the mother who was diagnosed with cancer, and for the senior whose social security was reduced by half. I understand the gas prices were more than some could bear so relocation was imminent. It all hurts and I want to help those who are willing to do something to help our nation get back on track. Sometimes I’ve encouraged my clients to press into a loan modification harder. Sometimes, I’ve suggested a client see an attorney who has advised against short sale. In the end, if a short sale is viable I’m ready for the next step and I’m ready to the end. I get along with everyone so I don’t mind calling the negotiators and working out the many quirks and kinks that arise throughout the transaction. I don’t mind working with the agent who has never done the short sale. I’m patient yet tenacious in closing. If there is help to be had through a short sale, I’m here to provide the experienced service. To find out more about a home short sale visit my short sale information Website at http://hosted.cdpe.com/148937.
You can reach me most quickly by email at ambakes@gmail.com second by phone at (707) 245-6090.

Yvonne Jones
I've been selling homes in Lake County since receiving my license in 1998. I am constantly amazed at all of the unique and beautiful areas we have here in our county to explore and enjoy
I especially enjoy representing Buyers when I can educate them about the process of buying a home and have helped hundreds to buy their first homes! I have nicknamed myself a "research junkie" because I love to research homes until I am satisfied that I have found the very best deal that many clients can buy. I am also a teacher at heart and love to educate my clients and make them feel they are very much a part of and understand every part of their purchase. Buying a home truly is the American Dream and I gain a lot of satisfaction out of seeing my clients achieve that dream.
Throughout the years, I have developed a network of professionals that have consistently given my clients sound advice. I kind of "adopt" my clients into my family and, like a protective mother, I demand the best treatment for them. I see people at their best and their worst throughout the very stressful, but always rewarding process of buying a home and I make myself available at (almost) all hours of the day or night because I understand the pressure they go through and the many questions that are racing through their mind. I encourage them to contact me often! I am happy to say that I have had very few escrows fall through over the years. I work hard to make sure that the transaction can succeed before I begin. I love happy endings!
Before joining TeamToye, I worked for Re/Max in Lake County for nine years, receiving many awards including:
*2002 Presidents Club, Executive Club and Top Listing Agent of the Year
*04 & 05 & 2006: 100% & Multi Million Dollar Club
*2007 Multi Million Dollar Club & Feb sales agent of the month
*2008 May sales agent of month & 100% Club award
*2009 April sales agent of the month & Dec listing agent of the month
I am a graduate of Realtors Institute and have the GRI designation. I also have a certification in dealing with "Distressed Properties" - aka, short sales and REO's. Though this market has been very sad in many ways, it is also the best time that I have seen since I received my license for Buyers to achieve their dream of home ownership! The deals out there and the interest rates available are incredible! Just as some believed the home values would only go up, many people will wait too long and miss the awesome opportunities available right now. With the surrounding markets having a 20% increase in purchase prices and multiple offers being submitted on the best deals, now is the time for Buyers to grab onto the opportunities available to them! When you are looking for an experienced, caring agent that will work to take the confusion out of the process and make you an active participant, call me anytime on (707) 367-9102 or email me at Yvonne@TeamToye.com.

Deborah Eggers, Reception
If you call us or come into our office, you will most likely speak to Debbie first of all. She brings a wealth of experience and background to our team.
She bought her first home when she was 18 years old, and has bought and sold several homes through the years.
She got her real estate license in the 1970s and worked for Walker and Lee Real Estate for a short time, before starting a 30-year career in mortgage banking. Debbie has had a Real Estate Broker license for over 5 years.
Debbie lived in Southern California for most of her life, but moved to LakeCounty in 2006, buying a home in Clearlake. She really enjoys the slower pace, the wildlife, the four seasons, and the clean air. She loves to garden and has a space in her yard big enough to grow produce to can spaghetti sauce and other veggies for the winter. She jams and preserves almost every year from the grapevines around her home.
She plays piano and guitar and has tinkered with violin and cello. Debbie loves all kinds of music, especially live music. She also hand-sews quilts and has entered 2 of her king-sized quilts in the next show for judging and display.

Selling Your Home >Why Is It Not Selling
If you are selling your home and it has been on the market for several months, you might start to wonder why it just isn't moving. How can you introduce some extra energy into the sale?
The first thing you should do is have a frank talk with your real estate agent in order to get feedback from prospective buyers who have seen your home, and other agents who have shown it. Does your home look its best? Is it accessible for agents to show on short notice? Is the price in line with the rest of the market? Do you need to consider neutralizing any strong decorating features that may not have wide appeal?
Getting your home sold is a collaborative effort between you and your real estate agent. It is important for your agent to market your property aggressively, but you must do your part to ensure that buyers see a home that is as appealing as it can be. Ask your agent for any new ideas that will create results.
